Juliet Kinchin

Juliet Kinchin is a curator, university professor, and writer on aspects of 19th- and 20th-century design and material culture. She joined The Museum of Modern Art, New York, as a curator in the Department of Architecture and Design in 2008, since then she has organized exhibitions that include Counter Space: Design and the Modern Kitchen, Century of the Child: Growing by Design 1900–2000, What Was Good Design? MoMA’s Message 1939–55, The New Typography, Designing Modern Women 1900-2000, and most recently, Making Music Modern: Design for Ear and Eye.
