Ruth Jamieson is the author of Print is Dead. Long Live Print: The World’s Best Independent Magazines (Prestel Publishing, 2015), an eye-opening look into the fascinating field of independent print journalism that showcases over 50 examples of innovative magazines from around the globe. A journalist, editor, and creative director in the advertising industry, she began her career working at magazines such as The Face and Sleazenation, and has written for The Guardian, the London Times, and the Telegraph. While studying at Central St. Martin’s, she published the independent magazine Bootcut, which won both the 2004 Emap Fashion Fanzine of the Year Award and the Fanzine of the Year Award.
